We may share a similar story - in that being initially I began my fitness journey with no experience, no guidance and no support. I started with little to no basic knowledge on how to achieve my dream physique, how to formulate a good workout or food plan and this made me fearful, timid and puzzled about how to start and where I would end up on my fitness journey. Fast forward to today, I overcame my fear and any demotivating and pessimistic thought surrounding fitness - I am happy within my body and look forward to each day I get to move my body.
With time and consistency, I learnt and harboured knowledge through research and trial and error, formulating a workout plan that I saw the best results from and applying consistency to my training days rather than intensity and discipline rather than motivation. I learnt that there was a common misconception between motivation and discipline - my motivation is what enabled me to start and allowed me to envision my desired outcome but it was my discipline that enabled me to create the steps to achieve it and stick through it with a focused effort.
